Tips for using Silit "Grip Line" knives
Silit "Grip Line" knives are dishwasher-safe, however we recommend handwashing for all your knives.
You also should observe the following:
The blades can be damaged, even in the silverware basket, if they hit against pots and pans. After use, simply rinse knife under lukewarm water.
Use detergent if necessary; dry off knife, moving from back of blade to cutting edge.
The plastic handles should be protected from heat. They should not be placed on hot burners because this can cause deformation.
The knives should also not be used as screw drivers or can openers. Otherwise the blade can be damaged. To prevent blade from dulling, a suitable cutting surface should be used. We recommend wood or plastic.
